         Cycle to the Moon!

A big thank you to all cyclists and sponsors who supported our sponsored bike ride from Marlborough to the Full Moon on 25th September, organised by fitness freaks Dean & Charlotte in aid of Dorothy House.

The route via Trowbridge is about 46 miles and is mainly off road.  It was hard going over the grassy sections of the tow-path, but all 19 cyclists completed the course, and no-one fell in the canal, not even Chris and Alex who managed to ‘rest’ in every pub along the way.

A special thanks to Martin and Erika Smith of Castley Couriers who kindly agreed to ferry our cyclists to Marlborough at the start of the ride and spent large parts of the day patiently waiting for strays at various points.

Also thanks to DJ Le Frog aka Guilllaume Darmon who provided disco and karaoke for us.

The final total isn’t available yet, but will be well in excess of £2,500 for Dorothy House - fantastic!
